Effective Email Marketing

Date/Time: Friday, June 1, 8am

Two years ago, the buzz was about how social media was going to replace email as the communications medium of choice. Well that hasn't happened. Instead, smart marketers, knowing that old habits die hard, have found ways to integrate email, social media, and website content to create effective marketing campaigns. Learn best practices in cultivating your mailing list, designing high-impact email messages, and integrating other digital mediums to drive awareness and sales.

Establishing Your Mobile Presence

Date/Time: Friday, July 6, 8am

Just a couple years ago, having a mobile presence meant creating an app from the ground up. This can be daunting for a small business or non-profit with limited budgets and resources. Enter HTML5 and CSS3 and the ability to design your website to look professional and stunning across multiple devices and screen sizes. We'll talk about what's changed to make this possible, how to decide that you need a mobile web presence, and the steps you can take with your web designer to make this happen.

Making Sense of Online Analytics

Friday, August 3, 8am

The old adage "you can't improve what you don't measure" is especially true in the world of online marketing. With a veritable plethora of comprehensive - and sometimes free - analytics platforms available today it's easier than ever to measure the effectiveness of your online strategies. When you leave you'll know how to rock Google Analytics, integrate your campaign metrics and tie it all back to your marketing strategy.

Easy E-Commerce

Friday, September 7, 8am

It used to be "location, location, location". These days, you can sell just about anything from anywhere - and now from any device, including smartphones and tablets. Here's the best part - it's cheap and easy to establish an attractive, results-driven online storefront. Ring your register with these five easy steps to online selling.

Open Forum: Cutting Through the Holiday Clutter

Friday, October 5, 8am

The holidays are the most lucrative - and most competitive - time of the year for many online and traditional businesses. What can you do to be seen and heard above the din of competing messages? This highly interactive session will feature an audience discussion of what works and what doesn't during the holidays. You'll come away with fresh perspectives from your peers on how to make the most of the holiday season.

The Power of Online Communities

Friday, November 2, 8am

Social media seemed destined to supplant online communities as the medium of choice for web-based engagement. That also hasn't happened. Savvy businesses are re-discovering the power of forums, blogs, and membership as a way to make their customer relationships stick. Learn how some local businesses and non-profits are creating community online as a way to drive continued revenue growth.

Biz to Biz Forum: Trends in Online Marketing

Friday, December 7, 8am

In our second Biz to Biz Forum, we'll have three panelists talking about what went right - and what went wrong - with their digital marketing efforts in 2012, and what their plans are in 2013. You'll have a chance to ask questions and share your ideas and best practices around digital marketing with the audience. Oh yeah, for those who have attended 5 or more C3 sessions, we'll be raffling off a new iPad.
